According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Washington was 5.3% (sa) in April, 2016. Among all Washington counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Ferry (10.7%), Pend Oreille (8.8%), and Stevens (8.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): King (3.5%), Snohomish (3.9%), and San Juan (4.8%).
