According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Washington was 5.3% (sa) in July, 2016. Among all Washington counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Ferry (9.1%), Pend Oreille (8.6%), and Wahkiakum (8.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): King (3.8%), San Juan (4%), and Snohomish (4.2%).
