According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Washington was 5.3% (sa) in June, 2016. Among all Washington counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Ferry (9.1%), Wahkiakum (8.8%), and Pend Oreille (8.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): King (3.7%), Snohomish (4.1%), and San Juan (4.3%).
