According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Washington was 4.1% (sa) in August, 2019. Among all Washington counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Ferry (10.2%), Pend Oreille (9%), and Grays Harbor (6.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): King (2.7%), Snohomish (2.9%), and San Juan (3.2%).
