According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Washington was 5% (sa) in August, 2021. Among all Washington counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Ferry (8.9%), Pend Oreille (7.6%), and Grays Harbor (7.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): King (4%), Asotin (4.1%), and Walla Walla (4.5%).
