US Unemployment Rate By State in July, 2003

According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 6.2% (sa) in July, 2003. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Oregon (8.3%), Alaska (7.8%), and Michigan (7.4%).

On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: North Dakota (3.5%), South Dakota (3.6%), and Nebraska (4.1%).
