According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 4.7% (sa) in November, 2007. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Michigan (7.3%), Alaska (6.3%), and Mississippi (6%).

On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: Wyoming (2.7%), Utah (2.8%), and South Dakota (2.8%).
