According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 9.6% (sa) in May, 2010. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Nevada (13.7%), California (12.5%), and Michigan (12.5%).
On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: North Dakota (3.7%), Nebraska (4.7%), and South Dakota (4.9%).
