According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 9% (sa) in February, 2011. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Nevada (13.6%), California (12.2%), and Rhode Island (11.1%).
On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: North Dakota (3.4%), Nebraska (4.6%), and South Dakota (4.9%).
