According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 8.2% (sa) in June, 2012. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Nevada (11.8%), California (10.7%), and Rhode Island (10.4%).
On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: North Dakota (2.9%), Nebraska (3.9%), and South Dakota (4.1%).
