US Unemployment Rate By State in December, 2013

According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 6.7% (sa) in December, 2013. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Nevada (9.2%), Rhode Island (9.1%), and Illinois (8.5%).

On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: North Dakota (2.8%), South Dakota (3.5%), and Nebraska (3.5%).
