According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 6.2% (sa) in April, 2014. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Nevada (8.5%), Rhode Island (8.3%), and Mississippi (7.9%).
On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: North Dakota (2.6%), South Dakota (3.4%), and Nebraska (3.4%).
