US Unemployment Rate By State in July, 2014

According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 6.2% (sa) in July, 2014. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Nevada (8.1%), District of Columbia (7.7%), and Mississippi (7.6%).

On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: North Dakota (2.6%), Nebraska (3.2%), and South Dakota (3.3%).
