According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 6.3% (sa) in May, 2014. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Nevada (8.3%), Rhode Island (8%), and Mississippi (7.8%).
On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: North Dakota (2.6%), Nebraska (3.3%), and South Dakota (3.4%).
