According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 5.7% (sa) in January, 2015. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Nevada (7.4%), District of Columbia (7.4%), and California (6.8%).
On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: North Dakota (2.6%), Nebraska (2.9%), and South Dakota (3.2%).
