US Unemployment Rate By State in March, 2016

According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 5% (sa) in March, 2016. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Alaska (6.5%), New Mexico (6.5%), and West Virginia (6.3%).

On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: South Dakota (2.8%), New Hampshire (2.8%), and Nebraska (3%).
