US Unemployment Rate By State in July, 2017

According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 4.3% (sa) in July, 2017. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Alaska (6.6%), District of Columbia (6.1%), and New Mexico (6%).

On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: Hawaii (2.2%), North Dakota (2.5%), and Colorado (2.6%).
