According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 3.9% (sa) in December, 2018. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Alaska (6.1%), District of Columbia (5.9%), and Mississippi (5.3%).
On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: Vermont (2.3%), North Dakota (2.3%), and New Hampshire (2.6%).
