According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 8.4% (sa) in August, 2020. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Nevada (13.9%), New Jersey (13.3%), and Hawaii (13.1%).
On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: Nebraska (3.9%), South Dakota (4%), and Maine (4.2%).
