US Unemployment Rate By State in September, 2020

According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 7.8% (sa) in September, 2020. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Hawaii (13.3%), Nevada (12.7%), and New York (10.2%).

On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: Nebraska (3.4%), South Dakota (3.6%), and Maine (4%).
