According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 5.1% (sa) in August, 2021. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: California (7%), District of Columbia (7%), and New Jersey (6.8%).
On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: Nebraska (2.5%), Utah (2.6%), and South Dakota (2.6%).
