According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 3.6% (sa) in August, 2022. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Nevada (5.2%), Illinois (4.5%), and Delaware (4.1%).

On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: North Dakota (2%), South Dakota (2.1%), and New Hampshire (2.3%).
