According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 3.6% (sa) in February, 2023. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Nevada (5.2%), District of Columbia (5%), and California (4.5%).

On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: Vermont (1.9%), South Dakota (1.9%), and New Hampshire (1.9%).
