According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 4.1% (sa) in June, 2024. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: District of Columbia (5.4%), California (5.2%), and Nevada (5.2%).
On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: South Dakota (2%), Vermont (2.1%), and North Dakota (2.1%).
