According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 4.2% (sa) in November, 2024. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Nevada (5.7%), District of Columbia (5.6%), and California (5.4%).
On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: South Dakota (1.9%), Vermont (2.4%), and North Dakota (2.4%).
