US Number of Total Arrests By Population Group for Offenses Against The Family And Children Offenses in 2020
According to the FBI UCR data, in 2020, there were 40,498 total arrests made in the US for offenses against the family and children offenses. There were 26,519 total arrests made in All Cities; 8,915 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 5,064 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 15,426 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.
In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Group VI - Cities had the highest (34.6), followed by Nonmetropolitan Counties (26.7), and Group V - Cities (18.9).
