US Number of Total Arrests By Population Group for Sex Offenses Except Rape And Prostitution Offenses in 2020
According to the FBI UCR data, in 2020, there were 22,065 total arrests made in the US for sex offenses except rape and prostitution offenses. There were 16,162 total arrests made in All Cities; 4,333 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 1,570 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 7,889 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.
In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Group I - Cities had the highest (11.4), followed by Group VI - Cities (10.8), and Group II - Cities (10.2).
