US Number of Total Arrests By Population Group for Offenses Against The Family And Children Offenses in 2023
According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 40,153 total arrests made in the US for offenses against the family and children offenses. There were 25,041 total arrests made in All Cities; 10,188 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 4,924 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 17,049 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.
In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Nonmetropolitan Counties had the highest (21.9), followed by Group VI - Cities (20.4), and Group IV - Cities (15.5).
