US Number of Total Arrests By Population Group for Sex Offenses Except Rape And Prostitution Offenses in 2023
According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 20,474 total arrests made in the US for sex offenses except rape and prostitution offenses. There were 14,927 total arrests made in All Cities; 4,083 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 1,464 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 7,530 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.
In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Group I - Cities had the highest (8.9), followed by Group VI - Cities (8.8), and Total Cities (7.5).
