US Number of Total Arrests By Population Group for Drug Abuse Violations Offenses in 2024
According to the FBI UCR data, in 2024, there were 722,703 total arrests made in the US for drug abuse violations offenses. There were 507,830 total arrests made in All Cities; 139,265 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 75,608 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 269,770 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.
In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Group VI - Cities had the highest (391.5), followed by Nonmetropolitan Counties (325.6), and Group V - Cities (255.1).
