US Number of Total Arrests By Population Group for Sex Offenses Except Rape And Prostitution Offenses in 2024
According to the FBI UCR data, in 2024, there were 17,863 total arrests made in the US for sex offenses except rape and prostitution offenses. There were 13,097 total arrests made in All Cities; 3,431 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 1,335 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 6,610 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.
In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Group I - Cities had the highest (7.8), followed by Group VI - Cities (7.6), and Total Cities (6.4).
