Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2011, the citizen population for Idaho was 1,488,220 and represented 96.02% of the total Idaho population.

Among all Idaho counties, Ada had the highest citizen population (374.33K), followed by Canyon (174.64K), and Kootenai (135.61K).
