Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest citizen population (4.58M), followed by DuPage (834.18K), and Will (634.48K).

In terms of percentages, Hardin had the highest percentage of its population being citizens (99.89%), followed by Gallatin (99.82%), and Hamilton (99.82%).
