Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2011, the citizen population for Indiana was 6,264,615 and represented 97.06% of the total Indiana population.

Among all Indiana counties, Marion had the highest citizen population (842.82K), followed by Lake (479.72K), and Allen (342.07K).

In terms of percentages, Union had the highest percentage of its population being citizens (100.00%), followed by Crawford (99.95%), and Rush (99.86%).
