Maine Citizen Population By County in 2011 (ACS-5Yrs)

Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2011, the citizen population for Maine was 1,309,320 and represented 98.55% of the total Maine population.

Among all Maine counties, Cumberland had the highest citizen population (274.04K), followed by York (195.32K), and Penobscot (151.44K).

In terms of percentages, Waldo had the highest percentage of its population being citizens (99.50%), followed by Oxford (99.45%), and Somerset (99.39%).
