Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2011, the citizen voting-age population for Minnesota was 3,817,575 and represented 72.33% of the total Minnesota population.

Among all Minnesota counties, Hennepin had the highest citizen voting-age population (810.24K), followed by Ramsey (356.33K), and Dakota (277.33K).

In terms of percentages, Cook had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (81.78%), followed by Aitkin (81.66%), and Lake (81.01%).
