Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2011, the District Of Columbia citizen voting-age population was 444.27K. The Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone ethnicity group had the highest citizen voting-age population (228.33K) and constituted 51.39% of the total. The Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the second highest citizen voting-age population (173.65K) and constituted 39.09% of the total. The Hispanic or Latino of All Races ethnicity group had the third highest (21.54K), constituting 4.85% of the total citizen voting-age population.
