Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2011, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Connecticut was 889,640 and represented 35.43% of the total Connecticut citizen voting-age population.

Among all Connecticut counties, Hartford had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (68.57K), followed by New Haven (66.88K), and Fairfield (57.37K).
