Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2011, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Michigan was 889,640 and represented 12.23% of the total Michigan citizen voting-age population.

Among all Michigan counties, Wayne had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (534.43K), followed by Oakland (113.28K), and Genesee (59.94K).

In terms of percentages, Wayne had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (40.86%), followed by Genesee (18.93%), and Saginaw (17.13%).
