Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2011, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Virginia was 889,640 and represented 15.73% of the total Virginia citizen voting-age population.

Among all Virginia counties, Richmond city had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (75.83K), followed by Norfolk city (74.97K), and Henrico (61.78K).
