Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the Ohio citizen population was 11.30M. The Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the highest citizen population (9.30M) and constituted 82.31% of the total. The Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone ethnicity group had the second highest citizen population (1.36M) and constituted 12.01% of the total. The Hispanic or Latino of All Races ethnicity group had the third highest (293.00K), constituting 2.59% of the total citizen population.
