Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Connecticut was 902,495 and represented 35.68% of the total Connecticut citizen voting-age population.

Among all Connecticut counties, Hartford had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (70.28K), followed by New Haven (68.95K), and Fairfield (58.50K).

In terms of percentages, New Haven had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (11.10%), followed by Hartford (11.09%), and Fairfield (9.83%).
