Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen voting-age population for South Dakota was 2,518,805 and represented 417.98% of the total South Dakota citizen voting-age population.

Among all South Dakota counties, Minnehaha had the highest Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen voting-age population (113.53K), followed by Pennington (65.08K), and Lincoln (30.45K).

In terms of percentages, Hand had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic White Alone (99.26%), followed by Hamlin (99.13%), and Campbell (99.11%).
