Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2013, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Louisiana was 913,605 and represented 27.22% of the total Louisiana citizen voting-age population.

Among all Louisiana counties, Orleans had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (158.15K), followed by East Baton Rouge (140.39K), and Caddo (85.95K).

In terms of percentages, East Carroll had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (66.96%), followed by Orleans (58.44%), and Madison (57.83%).
