Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2014, the citizen population for Idaho was 1,538,060 and represented 96.16% of the total Idaho population.

Among all Idaho counties, Ada had the highest citizen population (395.95K), followed by Canyon (184.03K), and Kootenai (141.35K).
