Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2015, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Maine was 1,266,075 and represented 96.80% of the total Maine citizen population.

Among all Maine counties, Cumberland had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (4.78K), followed by York (1.21K), and Penobscot (1.17K).
