Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2015, the Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen population for California was 3,196,310 and represented 9.66% of the total California citizen population.

Among all California counties, Los Angeles had the highest Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen population (2.57M), followed by San Diego (1.46M), and Orange (1.28M).

In terms of percentages, Sierra had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic White Alone (90.02%), followed by Nevada (87.72%), and Plumas (85.97%).
