Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2015, the Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen population for North Carolina was 3,196,310 and represented 34.20% of the total North Carolina citizen population.

Among all North Carolina counties, Wake had the highest Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen population (586.15K), followed by Mecklenburg (477.27K), and Guilford (263.10K).

In terms of percentages, Clay had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic White Alone (97.32%), followed by Ashe (95.74%), and Madison (95.30%).
