Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2015, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Texas was 935,440 and represented 5.55% of the total Texas citizen voting-age population.

Among all Texas counties, Harris had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (562.29K), followed by Dallas (383.24K), and Tarrant (192.69K).

In terms of percentages, Jefferson had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (35.57%), followed by Waller (32.12%), and Dallas (26.75%).
