Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2016, the Colorado citizen voting-age population was 3.82M. The Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the highest citizen voting-age population (2.95M) and constituted 77.13% of the total. The Hispanic or Latino of All Races ethnicity group had the second highest citizen voting-age population (556.67K) and constituted 14.56% of the total. The Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone ethnicity group had the third highest (143.07K), constituting 3.74% of the total citizen voting-age population.
